I thought that the book referenced in this comic was just a joke. Apparently, it actually exists. I may have to get it out of the library.

Why can't they just use LESS.

Why do I have to be able to identify artificial sweeteners by taste in a world where it's becoming increasingly harder to avoid them? Over two thirds of all the yogurt at my local supermarket, for example, is some variety of "lite." This makes getting the flavor I want somewhat tricky, and I apparently accidentally grabbed one of the lite ones by mistake. The first mouthful brought me the <sarcasm>wonderful</sarcasm> taste of sucralose, overpowering the actual flavor there was supposed to be.


If I wanted "sugar" flavored yogurt, I'd buy plain yogurt, dump some sugar in, and not have to deal with this nasty lingering aftertaste.
