Sometimes it's annoying to be reasonable.

I had a nice little rant thought out about a common thread I'd noticed in some urban fantasy books I read recently. (no dad, not your books, I read those in the airports and planes on the way over here and given my reading habits, that's not recent) However, I decided to have lunch before posting, and while eating I realized I was full of it. Since I don't like the taste of my own foot, it behooves me not to post unless I have at least one leg to stand on. (can I fit any more of the standard metaphors in there?)
