Warning: politics/profanity

In case anyone was wondering whether my lack of posting has indicated anything going wrong in my life, no it hasn't. There have been things that I've meant to post about, but have thought better of before getting back to my computer. Mostly it's been things where upon reflection I've gotten everything i need out of the exercise by planning out the post in my mind, and actually posting it would really add to anything but the length of your friends page.

Today, however, planning out the post didn't cool off my simmering anger at this asshole. Jim Bunning, Republican Senator from Kentucky and power-mad fuckwit, apparently spent today reveling in his ability to single-handedly block action (not even the other senate GOP members backed him) and then complaining that doing so caused him to miss a basketball game. And, since he's not running for re-election, there will probably be no repercussions from his actions that he cares about.

Hmm, seems I calmed down enough that there's less profanity than I expected. I guess it's helping.
