Sometimes I hate people.

A lingering scent of cigarette smoke made me think I had left my window slightly cracked open, but upon leaving today I found a smoldering cigarette butt sitting on a landing of the (interior) stairs. I know that smokers are not nessecarily inconsiderate people, my first college roomate was a smoker and I didn't find realize it for almost a month, but smoking gives inconsiderate people a whole new dimension for them to express themselves with.

My boss and various co-workers often stand outside with me talking work stuff while I'm smoking, and were confused at first why I kept standing only half facing them, holding my cigarette out to the side and trying to blow the smoke straight up in the air.

Some of us go out of our way. Not all, but some.

Okay, I may have exaggerated somewhat in my post, I was just exasperated by someone smoking inside a communal building without even bad weather for an excuse. most likely there are a lot of considerate smokers that I don't notice because they are such. Whereas, I can't help but wonder if this winner would have done the same had the stairs been carpeted instead of concrete. I mean, it's not like it's there carpet, and there are plenty of stories of idiots with cigarettes accidentally starting fires...

Well, its like the other weekend. I was helping a friend and 2 of his friends, empty out his storage unit.

It was slow going so I had a couple cigarettes, out in the open away from the unit. Putting my buts down a grate into water.

A little while after I put out my last one, one of the guys comes out of the unit coughing and looking green. I ask whats up, he goes "ugh cigarette smoke really fucks me up." So I look around the air confused.
"Huh thought it disappated by now..." and he goes "no" and points to the other guy, who's INSIDE the unit, with a lit cig in his mouth, moving boxes.

Then again that guy also pees off his front porch.

So yanno, inconsiderate people are inconsiderate people I think. smoking, driving, talking in movie theaters, or peeing off of porches. *shrug*
