Oh, and one more thing

Just to add to the idea that the lawsuits are either an attempt at legal extortion or an attempt to entangle and distract NCSoft at the behest of a rival: Worlds.com will go after Second Life and World of Warcraft in follow-up suits. WoW uses a setup (along with Eve Online) that comes closest to the technology described in the patent of any of the MMOs I'm familiar with and Second Life is a direct competitor with Worlds.com which, like Second Life, sets up non-game virtual settings. The one they could most easily prove their case against (WoW was after the filing was put in and released after the patent was granted) and the one that they could most easily show financial damage from, but they'll get to them later... riiight.
