I kind of wish I hadn't made that comment about losing sleep. Not that I think it had anything to do with my insomnia, but it may have contributed to my decision to just deal with it the easy way and just stay up. Having made it past the 4-7 AM time period, I'll be up the rest of the day. I wonder at what point this evening falling energy levels and rising quirt will meet.

Edit: that was supposed to be "rising quiet." What an odd word for spellcheck to know, considering some of the ones it doesn't.

Reasoning

Well, now that I've been active enough to be fully conscious, I realize that I ought to supplement the post I made right after making it through the nightime dead zone. My primary reason for doing this was that my sleep schedule was drifting further and further from the 'normal' day/night cycle. Not a problem for me, but definitely a problem for fitting into a normal workday. I've found that doing this sort of thing is usually the most successful way to correct this, sort of like giving an old TV a whack when it starts losing vertical sync. And I figured that labor day weekend is probably the best time to take care of this before it drifts too far. I didn't really have enough to do for those dismal hours between days though, and kind of dropped into a fog that took a little work to get out of. Now that I've had four hours of having other things to do but read and play video games, I'm back up to speed. I'm not particularly sleep deprived, I just have a hard time taking four hours of minimal stimulation. In college I was good for well over 36 hours and as far as I can tell from what my body is telling me, I still am. Not that I'm going to resist when it tells it's tired a little earlier tonight.

You mean this video wasn't originally intended to go with this song? And if you don't mind hearing the song again, the World of Warcraft one was done with an equal level of talent.

Also
a trunk monkey compilation.

That is all.
